Bay Area Bday Trip 2008 Wrap Up

We've made it back home from a really really fun trip back up to the Bay Area. Oh we miss it so!

It was pretty brutal rolling back into LA (at rush hour no less!) kind of a rude awakening.

Anyway, Miss Ruby had loads of fun hanging out at Grandma's. We had some good fun in Marin, going to Muir Woods (see previous post), picnicking at Blackie's Meadow, walking around downtown Mill Valley or just hanging at home.

We got to see lots of friends and family. Somehow we managed to cram it all in.

We saw 6 week old baby Braedon and two day old baby Luke. Here's a pic of cute little Luke. I can't believe that that was Ruby one year ago!

We also got to visit with the adorable Calanchini-Carter family. Kent, Michaela, Miles and Teo, who is 4 months older then Ruby and her future husband. We are preparing her dowry since he'll be an excellent catch!

Here's a picture of a funny moment where Ruby was getting windblown in the back of the car coming back from Tiburon. She was also yelling at the top of her lungs. Too bad we don't have the audio file!

For 4th of July (my birthday in case ya didn't know) we had a lovely day in St. Helena. We walked around the town a bit. Most everything was closed except for this art gallery. Ruby especially liked the stairs.

We had an early dinner at a restaurant called "Go Fish". They had a bbq/buffet and live music for the holiday. We sat outside and pigged out on bbq oysters, lobster tails and ribs. Yummm! Ruby got a lot of attention practicing her walking skills around the patio. I think she liked the music too.
