Life in the Bay Area

Hey People! We have settled in back in the Bay Area. Sorry for the long lapse in posting new pictures. Life has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride lately. Here are some pics from some of our better days.

A windy day at Stinson Beach. So very different from any beach in LA. That's for sure.

Ruby modeling the new hat that Mommy crocheted for her. Crocheting is my new favorite hobby. I'm obsessed.

Mommy and Ruby having an apple at the beach at the end of the Tam Valley trail. Incredibly beautiful hike. I highly recommend it. Especially for the beach at the end.

Ruby and Papa in front of a super-cool mural in SF's Mission District. We went to see some art at open studios that day too. So fun.

All dressed up for a swanky "Mad Men" theme party we got to go to. Yes it's true, I'm very pregnant....

....but that's not stopping me from having a good time! (okay, okay the martini and cigarette are just props) and doesn't Michaela look fabulous?

Ruby Turns Two!

It seems impossible to believe but two years have flown by and Ruby Dooby is now TWO years old! We had an amazingly fun party at the house. Just a few close friends and lots of water fun (it was hot!). The birthday girl wore her new bathing suit and a lovely flower lei hat.

Who doesn't love a good cupcake?

Day at The Beach

The Barnhardt's finally had a day at the beach. We went to Corona del Mar on Mother's Day. It was the best Mother's Day ever! (not that I've had very many)

Ruby had a blast playing in the sand.

She is quite the bathing beauty.

Always pleasant to nap on the beach with your mama.

Last Visit to Disneyland (for awhile)

Some videos from our last (and last for awhile) visit to Disneyland. Ruby gets wet at Disneyland/California Adventure.

A Bouncy Birthday with Jacob

Jacob's 2nd birthday was super-fun with a bouncer and delicious cupcakes.

Easter 2009

Grandma Jo and Great-Grandma Gretchen (aka Easter Bunnies) paid us a special Easter visit this year. Ruby was spoiled rotten with hidden easter eggs filled with all kinds of goodies. We also did our first egg dyeing ever, thanks to PAAS. That stuff has been around forever!
